Easter Weekend...

It's been awhile since I've blogged and I'm home all alone tonight so what better time. Not too much has happened since my last blog. I got a new job at Hilmar Cheese Company in Dalhart, TX. I love my job we have a great time at work. I work from 10 pm -6 am. I have made so many new friends.
Todd is still at Cimmaron working his way up that ladder :) The kids will be here in June so that is something we are both really excited for. Besides that not much has happened, we live pretty boring lives LOL!! Todd is in Quanah today for Montana and Aspen's birthday Happy Birthday girls! I didn't get to go because I have to work tomorrow. Oh well hope the party was great! I will leave you with some pics of the kids soccer games.

Well 2010 was full of changes for our family, the biggest was Todd and I moving to Stratford, TX.

We had a wonderful Christmas with the kids (who got everything they wanted LOL), Todd's mom, grandma and Sam came down on Friday and stayed with us until Sunday, so they were here to spend Christmas with us and to spoil the kids a ton. My mom and MiMi came up on Sunday afternoon to spend a few hours with us and they also spoiled the kids. The kids got a WII from Santa and so we had many "WII wars" within the last week they were here. It was so much.

My husband and I are having a few tough times right now, and would really appreciate some prayers. I've been substituting but it's not a steady paycheck so I'm desperatley looking for a job. On the other hand Todd loves his new job!

Well October had to be the longest month I've ever had. Todd got a new job as the Assistant Mill Manager at Cimmaron Feeders (JBS 5 Rivers owns it)in Texoma, OK so we moved to Stratford, TX. He has been off for a whole month and I'm going crazy, LOL, he starts his new job tomorrow (Nov.2) and I think I am more nervous than he is. We live in a little duplex right now until we can find a house to buy, the good thing is we only live a block from his cousin Laurie, whom I love, she is great.
We went to visit Todd's dad and sister at the first of the month and then went on down to Hamlin and spent 4 days with his mother (which I think I gained 5 lbs there :) ). Then we came home to Arnett and started packing, his mother and Sam came up and helped us load the Uhaul and we were off. It took us a day and a half to unpack and then we were off again to Tulsa.
We went to Tulsa and stayed with my sister and her family and went to the OSU homecoming game, which was a blast and we took Todd to Panera bread on Sunday because he had to do a paper on it in college and had never ate there, he liked it but it was alittle pricey for his taste. Monday the 23rd we came back home to Stratford and took the week to get all our stuff here done (changed driver's lic. got insurance, etc...) then today (Nov 1st) we went to Amarillo for his dr. appts and tomorrow he gets to go to work. We had a ton of trick or treaters come by and Todd loved every min. of it, I didn't even get to hand out any chips (we don't do candy) cause he wanted to do it.
The kids are flying into Amarillo on the 18th of Dec. to spend Christmas with us and we are very excited for that. My nephew Brycen is getting married on the 27th to his high school sweetheard Raylynn and they are having a baby in June.
That has been my month in a nutshell, alittle more eventful since my last blog. I will leave you with some pictures.

Well in the last 11 months, really not too much has been going on. I'm a stay at home wife for the time being which is good and bad (boring), we celebrated our 1 year anniversary, Caelyn's 9th birthday, Brycen graduated high school, David's 11th birthday and Todd's 3oth.

We have gained two new nieces, Izzy Blue and Aspen Laine and we have one more on the way...Lola will be here soon.

Todd has been working a ton, harvest wasn't very long this year but it seemed way more stressful :) So that has been the extent of our year, very uneventful I might say. I am going to post some pictures and I will not wait another 11 months before I post again :)

WOW I haven't posted in FOREVER!!! Contrary to popular belief I am still alive. I've been busy busy with work and have finally got my house clean no make that SCRUBBED!!! Now if I could just get my yard mowed I would be doing good and I would have a very happy husband. We went dove hunting last night it was fun, but Todd only shot two dove with about 22 shots. So funny. We are ordering Christmas presents and getting all that out of the way so when December does get here I don't have to stress over that stuff while the kids are here. Supposed to go to my mother-in-laws in October but since no one else (Jackie) is going I guess I'm not either. We have Miss Autumn's birthday in October and I have 6 birthdays in September.

Todd had to get stitches in his finger a few weeks ago, he crushed it between two pipes while working cattle. Poor guy bumps it on everything too. :) We also went to Tulsa on the 22nd for my little sis's 30th birthday, we went to a Def Leppard/Poison/Cheap Trick concert there were 16 of us it was SOOO much fun!!! Well nothing to exciting or interesting happening so I hope everyone has a wonderful week...

I am still alive we have had a busy summer this year with harvest, rodeos and traveling to Quanah to see family. Caelyn is doing a few rodeos this summer and she has one next week (11 and 12th) in Canadian. We went last weekend to Jackie and Levi's house for a cookout and came home with no kids so it's been a pretty boring week at our house. We are going to Wellington to the rodeo for the 4th of July to watch Caelyn do Jr. barrels and to pick up the kids and see Todd's family.

We have to take Todd to Amarillo on the 20th for his Dr. appts at the VA and he has to get an MRI on his feet they are getting worse. and then the week after that the kids go home :( that will be a sad day.

Well it was a crazy April with our reception and honeymoon, May has been good so far. We switched to summer hours at work so I am working 7am-5:30pm Tues-Friday now. (4/10s) We will be in Amarillo May 18th for Todd's Dr. appointment at the VA and then on May 29th I am going to Memphis to pick up kiddos. I am sooo excited. Caelyn and David both will be in a rodeo on May 15th in AL, Caelyn is competing for the Princess title and is also doing poll bending, David will be in the mutton bustin and steer riding. There is a website, littlebootsrodeo.net that you can go to sometime after the 15th to see pictures.

Todd and I went to OKC on our honeymoon, it was fun we went to the Cowboy Hall of Fame Museum and out to eat at many different places like Flips which is authentic italian food and Pearl's Oyster bar which is good and very expensive seafood.

We are going to spend the day with my mom today for Mother's day. Hope all the mom's that read my blog have a great day!!

Well we had a "blizzard" here a few weeks ago and I work for the highway dept. so I got to be out in it all weekend and got some great pics so I thought I would let y'all see them.

This is a AWESOME pic of me, my sister Shannon, cousin Claudia and Grandad that was put on the slide show at his funeral....

Well my sister-in-law has posted like four times more than me this year :) Not too much going on here. I started my new job with the Oklahoma Dept. of Transportation last week, I love love love it. We are having our wedding reception next month on the 18th and I have got EVERYTHING done and ready to go and then the next weekend we are going on our honeymoon (a vacation WOOHOO) but I will miss Ms. Montana's birthday (BOO). We have had some great weather this week, it snowed a bit last week and we haven't had a day this week that has been lower than 80 degrees...what is up with the weather. I hope everyone had a great St. Patty's day, and a great week!!!

A few of the new necklaces, Staci and I really branched out this time and made some cool, funky looking ones! My new washer and dryer...

Well I guess if my sister-in-law can blog at 3:00 in the morning I need to get my rear on here and post one too :) Really not too much has been going on here. I quit my job about a month ago so right now I'm just a stay at home wife. I got a new washer and dryer last week which for me, since I do a ton a laundry, is very exciting! We went to our first "show" to sell our necklaces and it sucked it was a big flee market where the, excuse my expression, white trash go. Our $25 necklaces were way too pricey for them. We have three birthdays this month, my nephew is 17 today, my brother-in-law is like 35 I think tomorrow and my baby girl will be 8 on the 24th, man they grow up fast! Well that's about it for the Harris household. Hope everyone got their invitations for our reception, it's April 18th at our house. Hope to see y'all there. Have a great week!!!

Well 2008 was a great year for me. I met and married my soul mate, I love him so much. I have a wonderful family, great friends, and now the best husband ever. 2009 hopefully will be as interesting. I did quit my job yesterday (1/19/2009) Looking for another but also just enjoying being home and able to get stuff done around here...Hope everyone has a great 2009...

We have had some great times these last two weeks unfortunatley it will come to an end tomorrow when we have to take our babies back to their dad's house.

Christmas was a blast, ALL FIVE OF THEM, everyone got wonderful stuff and we all ate so much the treadmill is fixing to be put to good use.

New Year's Eve my nieces, Hannah, Harley and Coco, came over and stayed the night with us. Harley ended up going to her grammy's around 11pm because she was throwing up and I don't do throw up. :) The kids had a wonderful time. We are heading out tomorrow (Jan 3) to head towards Arkansas, it's such a long drive. Hope everyone had a wonderful new year....

We are back from Arkansas with some kiddos. They are having fun in Oklahoma although it may be alittle colder than what they are used too. We have a busy week ahead, they are going with Grandma Susan to see Santa Claus tomorrow, then there is Christmas, and then it's off to Quanah for Chrismas with the Woods family and then off to some other town in Texas to see Todds mom...Merry Christmas and Happy New Year...

Well so much has happened since my last blog...Todd and I got married on November 20th. We went to Florida and moved my sister, brother-in-law and niece back home. All my siblings were down for Thanksgiving and we had a blast. It's fun to see all my nieces and nephews together. We had a new addition to our family, Lincoln Max Coleman...he's adorable. We had a party at mom's for the Bedlam (OU vs OSU) game, it was fun but I only lasted til half time and I had to go home and go to bed. December is going to be a VERY busy month. We leave 19th to go get the kiddos...SO EXCITED...then we have mom's birthday the 22nd, Santa Clause day the 23 of course Christmas Eve and Christmas and then we go to Quanah the 27th....It will be fun but I can't wait until January were I can just relax....Sorry it's been so long since I have blogged and I probably won't be back til the New Year...Everyone have a Happy Holiday season....

Well it has been awhile since I've posted, I figure one a month around this time a year and I'm doing pretty good. This is our busy season at work so I'm usually pretty worn out by time I get home at night from a 12 hour shift...Not too much has been going on here, we went to Iowa Park, TX to see my cousin and his cool pirate ship he built for his son in his backyard. It was alot of fun alot of my family were there and then on the way home we saw Todd's family. I've been dragging Todd to the high school basketball games to watch my nephew, Brycen, play ball I can't believe he is a junior in high school, where does the time go. My Todd's sister and her family are coming down this weekend, I can't wait!!!! Next weekend we are going to Florida. I think I have two weekends in December I have nothing that I know of (except work) to do. The holiday season is in full swing now...Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!!

Not too much going on in this part of the world...we had to put the new truck in the shop AGAIN!!! Maybe they jerks will fix it right this time. We went out Saturday with my old boss and his wife, we had a blast. I got my hair WHACKED off this morning and I'm getting highlights Friday morning. Todd and I have decide instead of having to plan a wedding we are just going to elope in April (When I get my vacation at work ) and then we are off to Taos, NM for our honeymoon. We are going to put a pig in the ground when we get back and just throw a big reception for our family and friends when we get back...I go back to days November 1st, I'm so excited. I guess that's really all i have for now, hope ya'll have a wonderful week!!! Happy Birthday Miss Autumn!!!!!!

Well we went to Woodward this weekend and Todd bought my engagement ring...we were both sweating after we walked out of that jewlery store:) I don't know who was more nervous him or me. Anyway it's the most beautiful ring EVER!!! The picture does it no justice...The only bad thing is I don't get to wear it yet, it just sits on the dresser staring at me...oh well two more months I will get to have it FOREVER!

Well we went to Amarillo this weekend and came home with a beauty...we got this truck and we both love it. Well Todd took me out to dinner and dancing in Elk City this weekend, it was so much fun! But we are old fuddy duddies and we were home by midnight. Not much going on this week but we have the Arnett rodeo this weekend which is always a good time. We are going to Amarillo next weekend to spend the night, hand out and hopefully buy a new truck...

Well I haven't posted in awhile because there is nothing going on here except work, work, work. I have been putting out resumes to find a new job because I can't handle nights, and it is taking a toll on Todd too, we see each other one day aweek now (when he leaves for work I'm just getting in and when he gets home I'm usually already gone) and it sucks. We have no plans for this weekend too because I work on Saturdays (didn't get off til midnight last saturday) but next weekend is the Arnett rodeo and I took off for it :) I think you and Levi should come down for it, it will be so much fun and a usually a pretty good dance afterwards...I will leave you with a few pics of Todd "riding the range" :) hahaha

Well this weekend we went to Quanah, we had a great time. We went to the rodeo Friday and shopping Saturday in Childress. (Yes Jackie I will go shopping with you again it wasn't as bad as you think it was :) ) Then Saturday we went to the NWTF banquet (it had to do with turkey's ) and we had a blast it was great, then after that we went to Jean's to sleep. We got up Sunday and went to Witchita Falls (got really lost) to pick up some cattle for my dad and then we FINALLY started home. We got home around 7pm Sunday night and then of course had to go to mom's to eat it was my sisters 17 year anniversary. All in all it was a great weekend but we are pretty worn out from it all. I will leave you with some pics, only a few though cause I kept forgetting the camera everywhere we went...

Well I am finally figuring all this stuff out. I have added music and a slideshow of pictures to my blog, it's really fun when you figure out what you are doing...hahaha. Not too much happening today, getting ready for work. Only one more night of work woohoo then a mini vacation to Texas....I can't wait! Well my babies went back to Alabama today, they cried they didn't want to leave momma and pops. My daughter asked Todd if he would call her dad and just tell him they are just gonna live here from now on. It was awful, but they will be back at Christmas, hopefully. I can't wait til they are of age to pick were they want to live. It will all be okay though. I am so excited and looking forward to this weekend (well Friday atleast). Can't wait to see my lil miss sassy pants :)

Well this weekend was SO busy. Todd's mom, her boyfriend and Todd's grandmother came down and stayed the weekend. Our weekend started off with "gift giving" for the kids. Jean (Todd's mom) bought the kids some floats for the lake and Sam (her boyfriend) bought them some life jackets and Connie (Todd's grandma) bought them kazoos, thanks for that Connie...hahaha. Well we sat around the barn after all the excitement of getting everything in the house, had a few drinks and talked while the kids played their new musical instruments. After awhile everyone was hungry so we went in and ate some enchiladas. They were excellent too.

My sister Shannon, and her broad showed up to see kids since they were all going out of town and wouldn't get to see them before they left (tomorrow...boohoo...but that's a whole other blog) We started shooting fireworks, after a little rock concert put on by Caelyn, David and Hannah (my niece). Harley (another niece) freaked out so the Shoaf clan left so we could finish the fireworks display. Around 11pm Saturday night I think I finally got into bed.

Sunday was a fun packed day also. We got up and ate some breakfast (thanks to Todd) and then we decided to go to the lake. Everyone had a great time. We swam, and went out on the paddle boat. We got home around 3pm and ate lunch (pizza, kids favorite) and then after everyone left for home, my family crashed hard. We all slept for a few hours. It was a great weekend but very exhausting...hope everyone had a great weekend!!!!

So Todd is teaching David (my 9 year old son) how to drive in the wheat field yesterday. David is actually a pretty good driver, it's Caelyn I worry about, she sat on Todd's lap and got to stear on the way home from the canyon yesterday, the poor kid couldn't even keep it on the road. It was a fun day for all though.

Well I have never blogged before but it looked cool. My name is Sheri, I live with a wonderful, caring, and even sometimes funny man, I have two children and we have two dogs that are like children. We live in a small town in NW Oklahoma, actually we live 15 miles from the small town out in the middle of nowwhere. Hopefully if all goes as planned I will be married by this time next year ( did i just jinx myself? lol) We both have good jobs and love to work but we love our play time too...
